CrossFit Regionals

Posted 05.17.17 by

The CrossFit Regionals is fast approaching!  This next stage in CrossFit Milford’s quest to make the World CrossFit Games will take place in Albany, New York this weekend, March 19-21st.  I wanted to take advantage of this blog post to get across some information to everyone for this weekend.
First; it is my pleasure to introduce everyone to your competitors this weekend.
The CrossFit Milford team is made up of six athletes that have been training their hearts and souls out for this moment.  The team is comprised of Trevor James, Nick Delgrande, Nicki Hoberman, Katie Steffans, Siobhan Blancaflor, and Christina Annunnziata.
Individually this year you have;
Courtney Simms.  Courtney was on our team last year that went to the games, and this year she dove into the individual world and qualified in one of the hardest regions out there!
Brittany Marella is a newer athlete to CrossFit Milford who will be competing on the individual floor as well.
Outside the walls of Crossfit Milford you will have some other athletes that work with us.
Dani Horan will be looking to get back to the games.
Kris Kling who was on our team last year has taken CrossFit Redzone to the regionals this year.
The first day of competition will occur on Friday.  Your CrossFit Milford team will take the floor around 9:45 am.  I will be posted the times each night on social media with our lane’s and times of competition.
We will have an athlete suite (which we will post once we get it), so everyone can look to meet in the stadium in front of the suite.  The suite is for all CFM competitors to have a local meeting place to get work on from Dr. Keith as well as meet with the coaches before workouts.  So, please respect this space for them.  If everyone could gather in front of the suite, and wear CFM gear that would be awesome for team support when we are working out.
Coach Mandy will be posting more information in the following days on social media!
